After a windows 10 upgrade or sometimes even without any reason, steam games begin to show strange behavior, crashes or not even start at all.

Verify install game cache files.
Data corruption on different places of the steam cache isn’t unusual.

To fix it, open steam, right click your game in the steam library, click on “Properties”, then on “Local Files”, and after that on “Verify Integrity of Game Cache”.
Now steam verifys all game data and repairs the game.
Depending on the game size and your computerspeed, this could take a few minutes.

After it finishes, check your game, which should now work again like usual 🙂
