Disable the annoying popup notification in firefox.
The popup often falsely states: “To improve video quality , you may need to install microsoft’s media feature pack.” when you try to view online videos.

Type about:config into the address bar and delete the contents of this setting: Media.decoder-doctor.notifications-allowed

Now restart firefox and the annoying pupup is gone.
